In addition, his emphasis on finding value then building business models to monetize it led him to found 9 companies, 7 reaching revenue and 5 successful exits. This has led to diverse recognition including the 2007 LISC award for Chicago Urban Development, being named Top 40 under 40 in publications in different industries in different cities and having over 20 patents and trademarks.
Ashish Desai
Ashish Desai is Director of Analytics for ARIISE™. As founder of Desai Capital Management, his buyout-focused equity portfolio totaling $400M, has outperformed the benchmark since inception by analyzing assets and equities in both international and domestic markets in all market capitalizations. Prior to which, he worked for S&P and led Bretwood and Colony Capital Management. His shorthand method of analysis (financial, economic, statistical) to valuate companies in every sector has been featured in Fortune, Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal as well as being named Professor at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
Robert Palmer
Robert Palmer is COO of ARIISE™ and its holdings, including SHELVED. Robert began at the White House in the Clinton Administration serving in the U.S. Department of Agriculture and led initiatives, including efforts to shepherd China into the World Trade Organization. Robert was a Press Secretary on two U.S. presidential campaigns. Robert since started a consulting firm servicing UN agencies designing and implementing numerous global projects and programs. He has established strong partnerships between governments, NGOs, and the private sector.
